Description: Pairs of students work together on reading activities intended to improve reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension. Students alternate the roles of tutor and tutee. Teachers train students to use set strategies: passage reading with partners, paragraph "shrinking", and prediction relay.

Entrance Criteria: TBD by SST/SRBI team

Exit Criteria: Grade-level performance

Intervention Requirements: 3x/wk for grades 2-6, 5x/two weeks for 7+, 35 minutes

Progress Monitoring: External source needed

Implementation Considerations: 1 day training workshop recommended, 2-6 manual/HS manual= $40
